What will your working day look like?

As Project Manager at our engineering department, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, design, tendering, construction and commissioning of the projects assigned to you. You set clear objectives for the project team, procurement team, construction team and commissioning team. You define the scope and compliance with project owner requirements. You schedule regular reviews of all cost aspects of the project. You will closely and timely report progress to the steering committee and communicate with project managers, stakeholders and external parties.

Safety, health and environment are your top priorities. You will ensure that all HSE regulations are defined, known to the project participants and adhered to.

What will be your biggest challenge?

To steer the projects in the right direction, you have good knowledge of project methodology such as planning, cost estimation, budget, action follow-up, HSE, etc. You are good at negotiating contracts Additionally, you have knowledge of technical project topics related to multidisciplinary projects (HAZOP, ATEX). And you know how to combine technical knowledge with business knowledge. You are a socially adept and communicative team player who easily takes the initiative and knows how to resolve conflicts sustainably. Customer focus comes naturally to you. You enjoy managing the various specialists and do the same with contractors and suppliers. You determine the approach for the projects within your working area. Working independently and making decisions within your domain therefore comes naturally to you.

How will you make a difference?

  • You have a scientific degree as a civil, bio- or industrial engineer.
  • You have at least 10 years industrial experience with preferably successful delivery of EPCM projects.
  • You executed as Project Manager projects of $20 Million - $100 Million TIC.
  • You have a demonstrable commitment to HSE Management in a project environment.
  • You possess excellent leadership and communication skills and a proven ability in leading multidisciplinary activities.
  • You possess knowledge of management of change process.
  • You have the willingness to travel abroad up to 25% of the time.
