John Murphy (37) joined Indaver's Irish order management team in 2019. He soon developed an interest in the financial aspect. Something that did not escape his employer either, as he has been employed there as a Financial Accountant Assistant since November 2022.
"During my job interview, the word 'change' came up several times.”According to John, “I feel when there is change, opportunities tend to present themselves. I feel fortunate with the opportunities that have come my way and being able to continue to develop myself with Indaver."
Leading with confidence
“It is not going to be handed to you. You have to take the initiative and reach out to the right people. Making them aware of your ambitions and the potential career path you’d like to take. I have always been supported by my managers in what I wanted to achieve. You are also able to get on with your work without having the feeling of someone looking over your shoulder. You’re always encouraged to share your experiences and knowledge with others, especially with new employees."
"There are lots of positives working for Indaver, the main ones for me are: job security, great colleagues and the opportunities provided for further personal development."
That is why John opted for Indaver: “I chose Indaver as they provide job security and they invest in their employees to develop and better themselves.”
