Indaver Business Continuity Plan for COVID-19

In light of the current challenging situation caused by the outbreak of COVID-19 in many parts of the world, and particularly in Europe, Indaver has taken specific measures in the Europe Region with regard to its Business Continuity Plan to ensure that our operations – and therefore your business – remain as undisrupted as possible.

We at Indaver are doing our utmost to care for your supply chain and serve you and your business as planned.

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, exceptional measures have been taken to contain the spread of the disease. 

Waste management was quickly identified by the government as an essential industry meaning that business must kept going 24/7. As a waste management partner Indaver did everything possible to safeguard its waste management for customers and its processing activities. 

A specific ‘Business Continuity Plan for Total Waste Management services during a Pandemic’ was therefore developed as an addendum to its regular Business Continuity Plan (BCP). This plan shows how we can safely continue our activities in Europe in various areas. From on-site management at the customer to processing activities, supply chain and commercial relationships. The "BCP Pandemic" is based on 4 principles:

  • secure the workplace
  • continue our activities
  • ensure continuity of the supply chain
  • ensure continuity of services

We respond to government guidelines and if these are structurally implemented, the BCP for Pandemic is aligned accordingly. The BCP for Pandemic is available upon request (Dutch and English) via your Indaver contact person or or iws-services(at)indaver.com
